Our Client, Judy hired Hello Sunny Skies to help find the least expensive round-trip flights to Paris. She had a tight budget but wanted to surprise her two daughters and her husband with a bucket list trip.

Plans for Paris
Judy wants to travel to Paris in May. She needs a total of 4 round-trip plane tickets. She’s flexible with her travel dates. Her home airport is Chicago O’hare. The least expensive flight she has found out of Chicago was $1103/round-trip on a major airline. This was out of her budget.
Hacked Flight
Hello Sunny Skies researched alternative direct-flight calendars and found that she could fly from New York DIRECT to Paris on Tues. May 5 for $164.90 and home on the 13th for $209.90. That’s $374.80/round-trip. Now the only issue is Judy needs to do a stay-over in NYC. After doing a quick search, we found her direct round-trip plane tickets to NYC from Chicago for $177. So $374.80 + $177= $551.80. They will have the expense of a hotel for one night in NYC, but plan to use hotel reward points for the stay-over. On the way home from Europe they will gain time, so there is no need for a hotel stay.
Total Savings
Stay-Over: $551.80 x 4 tickets = $2207.20
Direct from Chicago: $1103 x 4 tickets = $4412.00
Saving almost 50% on flights plus a night in NYC! Fair to say that Judy was thrilled with the savings.
