The Goal.
I met with a Farmer from Ohio whose travel goal is to fly his family of eight to Disney World. His six children have never been on an airplane!
During our consultation, he shared that he uses either check, debit cards, or automatic bank withdrawal for his operating expenses. Expenses like electricity, fuel, fertilizer, seed, etc. By purchasing this way, he does not earn any travel rewards.

The Plan.
With a little research, we selected both personal and business travel credit cards + Marriott Bonvoy. He will refer his spouse and add even more credit card sign-on bonus points and referral points.
He will transfer Chase UR points to an airline partner. He will use those airline points to purchase eight coach plane tickets. That is the easy part.
Now a room for eight people? That’s a bit trickier? He could opt for two connecting rooms, but the Marriott point value will not be great, and their large family will not be very comfortable in 2 rooms with two queen beds each. With the out of pocket Disney admission tickets being so expensive, he really wants to find a way to stay using Marriott points.
The Stay.
I suggested Homes & Villas by Marriott International. Marriott’s new vacation rental brand only partners with professional management properties to ensure that the curated homes are serviced to the Marriott standards. Different than VRBO, home-owners must work through one of these trusted property management companies. Homes & Villas have rentals all over the world, and the best part, you can book with Marriott Bonvoy points!!!! He will book a condo 8.5 miles away from Disney World for 142,000 points + cleaning fee/taxes = $196. This condo sleeps ten and has plenty of room for his large family. Plus, there is a pool on the property for those moments his family is not at a Disney Park.
