I get it, women can be judgy…but really, who cares? Luxury travel for less is incredible! Once you have a credit card plan in motion and earn your points, you’ll be traveling to luxury destinations in no time. And when you are posting pics on Instagram sipping your cocktail at the St. Regis, you’ll think…who’s laughing now!
Hotel branded cards are a great addition to flexible travel cards. If you have not applied for a Chase Sapphire Reserve or Preferred, this program is a great way to start travel hacking. Keep in mind; there should be some strategy when applying for cards. Are you married? If so, you and your spouse should apply separately over three months. Do not put each other as “authorized users” to maximize sign-on bonuses. You can combine points later in the Chase portal.
If you have a flexible travel credit card already, I would ask which hotel brand are you after? Do you have travel plans to a specific resort or destination? For example, let’s say you want to go to Grand Cayman to stay at The Ritz Carlton. In this case, you would want to either apply for the Marriott Bonvoy or Bonvoy Amex and hit sign-on bonuses between you and your spouse.
