The Goal.
Best Hubby Award for this client! He contacted me to plan a luxury spa “babymoon” for his pregnant wife and her Mom (grandma-to-be) at the new Miraval Berkshires Resort and Spa in Lenox, Massachusetts. He wanted to do this surprise spa vacation as a Mother’s Day gift- they are booked for late May. Way to think ahead!
They will experience daily yoga, meditation, spa treatments, cooking classes, and fine dining. Yes, please!
The Plan.
Earlier this year, he opened a World of Hyatt credit card and Chase Sapphire Preferred to cover most of the 5-day stay on points.
He’s been collecting points since January. He will earn a total of 2 sign-on bonus points and will transfer Chase points to Hyatt. He’ll then use his Hyatt card for incidentals, and extra costs at checkout, earning him 9x points at a Hyatt property. Once he surprises her, he’ll refer her to her own two credit cards earning them 2x the sign-on bonuses. He is already working towards a second vacation next Christmas.
The Credit Cards.
World of Hyatt Offer:
Earn 30,000 Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in your first three months from account opening.
